Hope for the Holidays Service

Christmas is a joyful time—but it can be hard. Most of us have years when we feel a little out of synch with the “holly-jolly” world around us. It could be a death or divorce, tight finances, or the kids have flown the nest – or it could be for no particular reason; you’re just not in the cheerful mood that everyone seems to expect. In fact, the season may be making you feel worse, making you feel like there’s something wrong with you. Christ came especially for people in your situation.
Would you, or a friend, like a service that celebrates the mystery and wonder of Christ’s birth but also recognizes the season can be bittersweet sometimes? The pastor has offered this service in another community and found it well-received.  Why don’t you come? Do you have a friend to invite?
