We hope you’ll take part in our monthly Interfaith Bible Study\, co-led by Pastor Scott Hill\, Rabbi Yaier Lehrer of Adat Shalom Synagogue\, and Pastor Angelique Edmonds of Faith UMC. \nEach month\, they will look at a different set of scriptures—sometimes our shared scriptures of the Hebrew Bible\, other times a pairing of New Testament passages with passages from the Hebrew Bible that shed light on them. The sessions take place on Wednesdays\, 6:00 -7:30 p.m.\, beginning with a half hour of worship. First two sessions are October 30 (Psalms 23 and 121) and November 13 (the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1 and the stories of five women named there). \nOur next opportunities to serve at the Neighborhood Table are October 10 and November 14.
