Christmas is a joyful time—but it can be hard. Most of us have years when we feel a little out of synch with the “holly-jolly” world around us. It could be a death or divorce, tight finances, or the kids have flown the nest – or it could be for no particular reason; you’re just not in the cheerful mood that everyone seems to expect. Christ came especially for people in your situation.
Would you, or a friend, like a service that celebrates the mystery and wonder of Christ’s birth but also recognizes the season can be bittersweet sometimes? Our annual “Hope for the Holidays” service – Tuesday, December 10, at 6:30 p.m. Why don’t you come? Do you have a friend to invite?
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.” – Isaiah 9:2
In the darkest time of year, we seek to offer a ray of hope, a place of quiet comfort.
