Church

As a strong, small church we enjoy being a lively community within the larger one we have sought to serve with compassion since 1893. We have hosted a Friday evening AA meeting since the early 60’s and provide space for meal preparation as a ministry to Pittsburgh’s homeless. We believe that God’s mission is even more important in difficult and changing times, and are doing our best to grow, develop, advance, and build the remarkable gifts with which God is blessing us.

Since 1996 our average worship attendance has increased from 58 to 87 and we have gone from practically no children at all to currently having over thirty elementary age and younger, in addition to our young people in middle or high school. This year alone we have already added 12 adults and seven children to our roll of active members. We are grateful and excited about what the Holy Spirit is clearly doing in our midst.
